  1. Background Process

    I really want to make SecureChat my go-to Android and iOS chat application, but I can't because of the 10 minutes background timeout on iOS.

    Check out the Gliph app. Clearly not as secure as SecureChat since it has a proprietary protocol, but somehow (push notifications?) they are able to remain in the background of my iOS device indefinitely.

    I know you are based on the FAQ entry, but please consider implementing a background/push feature in an upcoming version.

  2. Group Chats

    Allow the user to select a server to join, display a list of rooms on that server, join a room, see who is in the room, pm users in the room, kick/ban (with permissions). I hope these will be included in the next update. What is the expected launch date?

    An exact mpOTR specification is still being debated among cryptographers on the otr-dev mailing list. Group chats are on our road map, but we would like to wait until mpOTR is more mature.

  5. import otr keys

    there should be an option to import otr keys, because I often change my client, and I want to be able to decrypt the messages on all clients

  8. Why not use iOS 7 Multitasking / Background App Refresh?

    I am not a developer and I am not too deep into iOS7. But can't you keep the app's session alive by using iOS 7's new multitasking features / Background App Refresh? Or is this feature-set reserved for another type of app? Thanks for the excellent work so far.

  9. Message notification badge, sound

    This app idea is awesome, but mostly useless to me without a notification badge and/or sound when someone texts me. I don't have time to check my messages every 10 minutes after the app goes to sleep to see if someone sent me a message.

  10. Work background

    I think it will be very helpfull if the app will work if my device is locked but conected to internet. It will be great if will work like whats app, on background.

    Icq support would be very nice (:
    Because, there's only 1 im out there, who supports icq with otr :(
    And this is an IM where you have to pay for the OTR. That's unfair, selling a free open-source tool -.-'
    I'm going to donate, if icq will added. :)

    This is a huge feature, I know, but if this could replace not only our unsecured IM apps but also that crappy Skype and Facetime, it would be amazing!

  15. Отключение учетной записи!?!

    Можно ли как нибудь сделать чтобы учетная запись была всегда онлайн? чтоб приходили сообщения всегда. А не тогда как именно в программе находишься, когда сворачиваешь учётка отрубается :( пока не зайдешь не примешь сообщение, а там возможно написали. Либо добавить пункт меню( по желанию) автоматическое отключение учетной записи через н-минут.

  16. Требуются некоторые изменения!

    1) Программа выходит из Аккаунта через минуту, и он больше не доступен, сообщения не доходят.
    2) До сих пор не понятно как обмениваться отпечатками. Позунок стоит на автоматическом шифровании, но как только начинаешь общаться с авторизированным собеседником, приходится нажимать в самом чате "начать шифрование".
    3) на Андройде есть отправка фото и делать снимки, на iPhone этого нет!
    4) на Андройде так же есть сканирование и отправка графического отпечатка, на iPhone нет.
    5) плохо работает Push

  17. File sharing encryption

    I would like to be able to send encrypted files or photos or attachments. That'd be a nice feature. Right now, this app lacks the capability.

    Why soo many taps to log in to your accounts? The first thing you want to do is log in. I think it should be on the first page when you start the app.
