  6. Compact Buddy List

    It would be great if we could make the buddy list compact, only showing the buddy's name and an icon for their status. This would allow us to fit more buddies on one page/screen.

  7. Configure ejabberd to activate push

    Is there a tutorial or something else on how to configure ejabberd to be able to push to an iOS device using the push service chatsecure provides? I searched all over the internet but couldn't find any usefull information for ejabberd. I will be glad for every bit of information on this topic

  8. Cannot connect to my Mountain Lion jabber server. Adium connects just fine using the exact same settings.

    Cannot connect to my Mountain Lion jabber server. Adium connects just fine using the exact same settings. I consistently get this error message, sometimes multiple times: "Error! Failed to connect to XMPP server. Please check your login credentials and internet connection and try again." Note that I'm able to connect to this same server using the same account with Monal.

    My idea is that Chatsecure adopts a cloud service like IRCCLOUD. This way the app could be kept awake 24/7 per say. When the app closes after 10 minutes, the cloud service will still keep the user online and away on the chat server, if a message is received it gets forwarded to the user as a notification. I

  12. Choose notification displayed on home screen

    Currently (home screen) notifications show name and message. This is a privacy concern. I would like to be able to choose how notifications are shown:
    - Name and message (current setting)
    - Username only, no message text
    - No name and message

  17. Prevent iOS from sleep

    Please add an option to enable or disable the software to prevent iOS from sleep.
    When the power cable is connected please generally prevent iOS from sleep.
    This would address the background problem a little bit.

  18. Method for OTR key managment.

    There should be a way for general management of OTR certificates (those stored on the mobile device). For example, one should be able to generate new certificates (as well as import, as some ideas have already suggested), view stored certs (presumably associated with your "buddies"/contacts), and be able to delete/verify/unverify any cert as required from this list. Any thoughts?
