    PGP encryption may have been useful in its adolescence. However, that's just where it remained, and is both an easy protocol to crack and one that continues to refuse to grow into something easily usable by everyday human beings. I'm not certain it would really be of value for ChatSecure. Also, comparing the proprietary applications you've listed, none of which provide neither security nor privacy for the people who use them despite what they claim, to the functionality that ChatSecure provides, goes far beyond comparing apples to oranges. I hope you objectively consider these facts. Thank-you.
